Liam Hemsworth’s Former Malibu Home Is Being Sold Quietly. Liam Hemsworth, the Hollywood star, has quietly sold a Malibu home that was damaged by the 2018 Woolsey Fire.
“It’s been a sad few days,” Mr. Hemsworth wrote on social media almost two years ago. Beside a photo of the soot house, which was reduced to ashes save for a fire and a few walls. “…my heart breaks for everyone who has been impacted by the flames.”
Mr. Hemsworth, 30, has presumably decided to sell rather than renovate two years later. According to a deed filed with Los Angeles County on Oct. 13, the trust through which he owns the home secretly finalized an off-market deal last month, selling the 7.4-acre site for $3.6 million.

According to public documents, the unknown buyer was a Yukon liability firm. It’s unclear whether or if any realty agencies were part in the transactions.
Mr. Hemsworth resided with his then-wife, singer Miley Cyrus, at the tony Malibu home, a bordering three-bedroom, three-bathroom house at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, before the fires, according to Variety, which first reported the sale. The couple has already broken up.
The transfer puts a great, but not unusual, decrease in the value of the demolished property.
Mr. Hemsworth hinted at rebuilding in the aftermath of Woolsey. In November 2018, he tweeted, “I love you Malibu.” “Thank you to all of California’s brave firefighters. It’ll be a long road to recovery.”
However, the property hasn’t changed much since he shared the heartbreaking photo.
